Mission Statement

CAMPAIGN FOR PROGRESSIVE RADIO

We are a San Diego-based grassroots network dedicated to supporting and promoting local radio programs that present a diversity of non-conservative viewpoints representing all people in San Diego County. Short term, our goal is to get progressive voices back on the San Diego air waves on existing stations, following the demise of KLSD, San Diego’s only progressive station. Long term, we seek to establish a new high-power radio station with 100% progressive programming. CPR’s website will also provide links for listeners to other radio and online media outlets offering progressive points of view.
